Who We Are
The Sierra Leone Islamic Center of Greensboro – Masjid An Noor is desperately and actively pursuing a viable Masjid facility which would contain large prayer rooms for both male and female worshipers, classrooms for holding educational sessions, offices, bathroom facilities, a large multi-purpose community hall, etc.
Since 2017, the Jamaat has been renting hotel rooms and community centers to conduct Ramadan and other activities.
Since its establishment in September 2022, the weekend Islamic school has been operating in the waiting room of a local Medical Doctor. As the school grows, it is critical that we obtain a facility that will house multiple classrooms.
